||Cynthia Babak is a founding member of Brave New World Rep, where she has acted in numerous plays, including THE LONG CHRISTMAS DINNER, AS YOU LIKE IT, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, and TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. She got blown up as Diane in the Off-Broadway Tupperware comedy, SEALED FOR FRESHNESS, and floated in the sky as the Woman in White in Robert Wilson’s THE GOLDEN WINDOWS at BAM. She recently directed FABULATION, or the Re-Education of Undine, by Lynn Nottage, and THE AMERICAN CLOCK, by Arthur Miller, for Brave New World Rep, and has directed numerous productions for high schools and private schools in the NYC area. Her full-length play, WHERE I DWELL, was produced at Lanyard Theatre in Bath, Maine (2008); her one-act play, IN THE SKIN, was a semifinalist for the O’Neill Theatre Conference (2007).
