Appeared on John Leguizamo's HOUSE OF BUGGIN' as Bebe Johnson. Several roles in the Foundry Theatre's ROARING GIRLE. Ensemble member of I THINK WE'RE ALL BOZOS ON THIS BUS at the Courtyard Theatre. Played the Angry Actress in the film ED'S NEXT MOVE. Bunny DuBois in Colin Quinn's GOING BACK TO BROOKLYN. Ensemble member of GOING TO AMERICA at the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, VA. Cynthia Babak is a founding member of Brave New World Rep, where she has acted in numerous plays, including THE LONG CHRISTMAS DINNER, AS YOU LIKE IT, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, and TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. She got blown up as Diane in the Off-Broadway Tupperware comedy, SEALED FOR FRESHNESS, and floated in the sky as the Woman in White in Robert Wilson’s THE GOLDEN WINDOWS at BAM. She recently directed FABULATION, or the Re-Education of Undine, by Lynn Nottage, and THE AMERICAN CLOCK, by Arthur Miller, for Brave New World Rep, and has directed numerous productions for high schools and private schools in the NYC area. Her full-length play, WHERE I DWELL, was produced at Lanyard Theatre in Bath, Maine (2008); her one-act play, IN THE SKIN, was a semifinalist for the O’Neill Theatre Conference (2007).
